I just listened to her sing for the first time tonight, one of her live performances of "Time to Say Goodbye". It was the most beautiful thing that I have ever heard, she literally brought tears to my eyes. I am in awe that those sounds could can possible uttered from a human being's throat.

- Sometimes I think I am the strangest person on the planet. But other times I think maybe I'm the most boring person on the planet. I decided to write this blog at a time when I was trying to discover myself. I still think there is much to know but as of now I know that I am: a black American female, the oldest sister, a friend, a guitar player, a basketball player, a video game player (especially the Sims), a med school student/future doctor, shy until I get comfortable, playful and silly, creative, possibly an alcoholic, a victim of sexual abuse, a product of a single parent home, a reader, a Family Guy/Dexter/Heroes/Lost/Nip Tuck/Simpsons fan,a sci-fi lover, extremely introverted and self conscious,selfish and self centered , forgiving ,open minded, possibly lesbian or bisexual,a believer in God but not religion, "laid back", humorous, sarcastic, skeptical, intelligent, curious, irresponsible,poor at spelling and grammar, disorganized messy and lazy, not a fashion expert, not a person that fits into any stereotype, and finally not important. This is how I currently define myself.
